Update from Egstow Park, Clay Cross, Derbyshire

The Costa Coffee Drive Thru’ was completed on 26^th October, including its immediate car park. Following fit out, Costa opened for trading mid-November. Home Bargains is at final cladding and ready for installation of glazing and steel doors in the week commencing 5^th December. Externally, the flags are being laid to the perimeter of the building and preparation works ongoing for the tarmacadam surfacing to the car park surrounding Home Bargains.

We anticipate final completion of this building by the first week of January 2021, following the Christmas and New Year break.

We therefore are on schedule for practical completion by 22^nd January at the latest and with Home Bargains’ period of fit out (8 weeks maximum) we expect the whole site to be trading by mid-March.

The construction has been exceptionally well managed. Our appointed surveyor has monitored the build throughout without any issues in quality of build, the build cashflow being managed within budget and excellent communication between the project managers (under the construction/JCT contract) and LPS.
